How Is A Low Commission Realtor Different?

Some low commission REALTORS and real estate brokers only offer limited marketing and services.  However, the only difference between a traditional REALTOR or real estate broker and me, is how much you will pay. I offer low commission pricing, but still provide full service listings. I do this because as technology has changed, my job as a listing agent has also changed. 

Many full priced real estate agents will try to justify charging you 6% or 7% but the truth is, marketing a typical home in the Denver area no longer requires as much time and money as it used to.  Over 98% of buyers for a typical resale home in the Denver area come from the MLS, the internet, a yard sign, or a friend or neighbor – my full service marketing covers all of these while my low commissions save sellers thousands of dollars.  

In addition to the change in marketing, house prices have gone up much higher than inflation or the cost of living.  Because of this, it just isn’t fair to charge 3% or more for each agent in the transaction.  As a full service low commission REALTOR, I charge a fair commission.

Just as important as the marketing aspects of my job are the professional services I provide – such as accurate pricing, staging, negotiating, follow up, deciphering feedback, understanding contracts and other documents, coordinating, and problem solving. I am a low commission REALTOR, but the marketing and services I provide are above and beyond most traditional agents and I charge a low, fair fee.
